Our vision at Let’s Go Shoot! is to provides unique, fun, educational, safe and affordable shooting experiences to individuals, families, and groups living in or visiting Northwest Florida. Firearms can be used for many different things, we teach people to use them for entertainment. Not everyone is used to being around firearms, and our goal is to take the mystique away and show folks that shooting can indeed be fun! We stress safety above all else, and maintain a customer-to-coach ratio small enough to lavish personal attention on each and every shooter. We want our customers to leave raving about the experience, and want them to rank it forevermore as one of the most memorable and enjoyable experiences of their lives. That’s the passion that drives us!
LeGette "LeGs" McIntyre
With over 45 years of shooting behind him so far, LeGs brings the perfect combination of firearms experience, enthusiasm, and ability to teach and coach to this business. Originally a Sumter, South Carolina native, LeGs was introduced to shooting at an early age by his father, a WWII Naval Air Corps gunnery instructor. His father carefully nurtured and honed his skills with a rifle, shotgun and pistol during many camping and hunting trips. He made the adventures so fun that Legs didn’t even realized he was being carefully schooled in the basics of shooting and shooting safety.
He took this solid foundation of firearms basics with him when he graduated from The Citadel in Charleston, S.C., and entered the U.S. Air Force as a brand new Second Lieutenant. Starting out as a Minuteman Missile Launch Control Officer, he consistently qualified as “Expert” with the Air Force’s service pistol all four years he was on nuclear crew duty. After a full and rewarding career, LeGs retired from the Air Force in 2002 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
LeGs retired as an Air Force Contracting Officer, and immediately launched a consulting business teaching contracting skills to Government contracting personnel. Since that time, LeGs has taught literally thousands of students and hundreds of classes all over the United States. He is also the author of two books on contracting and contract negotiations.
Despite his success, he felt himself more and more pulled back to his love of shooting. He also longed to transition into a business that would let him stay home more and spend more time with his family. He had collected an impressive number of firearms over time, he had amassed an incredible amount of experience as an instructor – so he just put these two facts together and created Let’s Go Shoot! He was helped immeasurably by Shepherd and Lynn Humphries, owners of Jackson Hole Shooting Experience. Shep and Lynn are the true pioneers of the luxury entertainment shooting industry. Come out and see how magical things go when someone is truly doing something they love!

Jill McIntyre
Jill is the enthusiasm, free-spiritedness, and certainly the financial and business genius behind Let’s Go Shoot! Born in Tuskegee, Alabama, she grew up around all types of firearms. Not an avid hunter, she nonetheless became very competent with firearms, especially handguns. Competency and enthusiasm accelerated greatly after marrying LeGette in 1993. Shooting was something she found they enjoyed doing together as a couple.
She is now a strong advocate for a woman’s right to defend herself, including the safe concealed carry of a firearm. Her passion is to mentor, coach, and teach other women in the safe and effective use of handguns, and to certify as many women as possible to become safe concealed carry license holders. Her goal is to become the mostsought-after female concealed carry instructor in the Southeast United States.
A graduate of Jacksonville State University, Jill has experience running several successful businesses. She has proven experience in the public relations field, as well as years of experience as a teacher and an instructor. She can also out-shoot LeGette with a handgun.
